Cooking, ethnic food, beer, skiing, tennis

Mom can cook but doesn’t enjoy it. Dad could barely use the microwave. In either case, it was very traditional meat and potatoes. They are shocked at the stuff my kids will eat.

Dad drank scotch or tiki drinks. No beer (or wine). Mom mostly wine. Neither could stomach the beer I like.

They were also pretty traditional sports-wise. Dad played football and baseball in college, and was a scratch golfer. Mom was mostly into swimming and walking. Dad and I had baseball in common (which was great) but I ended up playing more basketball and tennis, and picked up skiing as an adult. Not sure either ever did any of those sports.
